An electric scooter is ideal for short to medium trips on relatively flat outdoor terrain: parks, walkways, large shopping centers. It does not replace a wheelchair if you need prolonged postural support.
Buy or rent — day, week, or month. You can rent an eligible product (more than $500 MXN; accessories from $3,000 MXN) and, if you decide to buy it, what you've already paid for the rental will be credited towards the purchase. You only pay the difference and keep the product.
Buy a scooter if your outings are mainly outdoors on smooth surfaces and you don't need reclining or complex transfers. If you spend many hours sitting or use steep ramps, an electric wheelchair is usually safer.
