Answers about the monitor QiTrax — specifications, use, and purchase in Mexico.
It's a CGM (continuous glucose monitor): a sensor that measures glucose in subcutaneous tissue and sends readings to an app. In Mexico, QiTrax of QiHealth have COFEPRIS health registration. Health Reg. No. 263300201B0771 SSA · Advertising Permit: 263300201B0770 SSA. ANDAFACIL is a distributor; Consult your doctor. · Read the instructions for use.
Yes. In ANDAFACIL you buy packs of 1 to 6 sensors with VAT and shipping included, secure checkout and support by WhatsApp. Use should follow manufacturer instructions and your doctor’s advice. The sensor has a battery life of 15 days (360 hours) of continuous use. In the clinical trial, 96% of the 174 units completed the full 15 days without failures.
The QiTrax has an MARD of 8.66% (95% CI: 8.27%–9.05%), validated in a clinical trial. The MARD measures the average error against a reference blood sample — the lower, the better. The internationally accepted standard for CGMs is below 18%.
No. The sensor is factory-calibrated and operates autonomously for 15 days. You don’t need to prick your finger or enter reference values.
The sensor records 1 reading per minute, equivalent to 1,440 readings a day. This gives you the full picture of your glucose levels, not just an isolated moment.
On the back of the upper arm (triceps / outer side). Do not place on the forearm or abdomen. Avoid areas with scars, moles, or stretch marks, and choose a different site from your previous sensor.
Number QiTrax connects via automatic Bluetooth — the data reaches the app without needing to bring your phone close or scan. Just make sure Bluetooth is active and your phone is within 2 meters.
In the clinical study, 93.1% of participants reported painless insertion. 6.9% reported mild discomfort that was tolerable. The needle is ultra-fine and automatically retracts when applying the sensor.
85.1% of study participants found it “very convenient” to install; 14.9% found it “moderately convenient”. The applicator is automatic — just position it on the arm and press.
The 92% of clinical trial participants reported that the sensor was comfortable to use throughout the period. Its ultra-thin profile allows sleeping, dressing, and physical activity without discomfort.
Yes. The QiTrax has IP68 certification — water resistant. You can shower, swim in a pool and exercise without removing it. No special care needed with water.
Yes, it's one of the most valuable moments to wear it. The IP68 certification protects it from sweat and water. The clinical study did not report activity restrictions during the 15 days of use.
In a study of 174 sensors, only 5 came off prematurely (4 due to direct physical impact, 1 cause unknown). The remaining 96% completed the 15 days intact. If you notice that an edge is lifting, you can use a medical adhesive patch over it.
Coach Ana is the artificial intelligence integrated into the system QiHealth. Interprets your glucose trends and patterns so you can bring more useful and organized information to your medical consultation. Does not replace your doctor's clinical judgment — it complements it.
The QiHealth ecosystem integrates CGM sensor data with the QiHealth Ring and QiHealth Band, displaying multi-biometric metrics: glucose variability, trends, food and exercise response, and proprietary system scores.
Integration with Apple Health is coming soon. For now all data resides within the app QiHealth, available for iOS and Android.
The secondary account feature for caregivers is currently under development. For now you can share your history by exporting a 15-day report from the app and sending it directly to your doctor before your appointment.
